Announcing The Path - the new CD from the Toronto Jazz Orchestra
The Toronto Jazz Orchestra recently completed recording a new CD - the first in five years ! Called The Path, the new CD will feature five compositions or arrangements by Josh Grossman (including teh hit single The Path); Erik Patterson's Happy at Sad Things (the winning composition from the 2008 Young Composers Competition); Moiya Callahan's i love you on the microphone; and two tunes featuring vocalist Sophia Perlman. The Path will once again feature primarily Canadian compositions and arrangements, while also crossing musical and geographical borders.

Under A Tree
Our second CD, Under A Tree, was recorded in the Stealth Lounge at The Pilot Tavern. Many of the tracks were recorded for a live audience. The album, released officially in March, 2004, exclusively features Canadian compositions never before recorded on CD...some of the tunes were actually written specifically for this project(*)!
