In the Studio with Ted Louis Levy

As part of the Big Band Tap Revue, we are excited to present an opportunity to work with choreographer, director, writer and performer Ted Louis Levy. Mr. Levy is an Emmy, Outer Critics Circle, and Helen Hayes award winner and a Tony, Drama Desk Award, and NAACP award nominee. He is acclaimed for his choreography on Jelly’s Last Jam (in collaboration with Gregory Hines and George C. Wolfe), his performance in Broadway’s iconic Black & Blue and the Susan Stroman/Harry Connick Jr production Thou Shall Not, and his creative work with Savion Glover – making his directorial debut for Dancing Under The Stars (New York Shakespeare Festival’s Delacorte Theater); he also assisted on the choreography of Broadway’s Tony award winning hit Bring In Da Noise! Bring In Da Funk! Mr. Levy is celebrated as one of America’s premiere tap dance artists and we are honoured to host him for the first time in Toronto!
